Lar Feliz

Our shelter is now home to more than 50 children from the Sao Paulo area of Brazil. All of the children placed in our care have experienced abuse, neglect, homelessness, or the death or abandonment of parents. After these terrible experiences they need to find hope for a brighter future.

In our homes, they learn how to live in a community setting. We teach them that their life is special, created by God, and that as they learn to show respect for themselves and others, they can have valued lives, and realize their dreams.

We invite you to learn more about our work with these children and how you can help.

The current time at Lar Feliz is:

Each child brings with them their own tragic story.

We would like to share with you the story of Mara.

"When she came to us, she was a very thin withdrawn girl who wore scanty looking clothes. She has a striking resemblance, many say to Angelina Jolie, olive colored skin with dark sea green eyes. She did not look happy to be with us and rarely wanted to participate in even the most entertaining activities at Lar Feliz."   - more -
